The year was 1931 and I was busy going through puberty and playing "sugar lump" for a nickel a pop with the local bullys.
My father was a "weekend chef" who liked to fry up beans, Con Queso, and peppered lemon wedges. I learned everything I know about food from my father.
EVERY RECIPE THAT YOU WILL FIND IN THIS ISSUE WAS CREATED BY MY FATHER (except for a few that were created entirely by other people).
Recipe #1: Cold Apples
Take 2 red delicious apples. Scrub them thoroughly under water for 6-8 minutes. Place apple(s) in the fridge and set timer for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes, remove apples from fridge and cut into 6 sections.
Eat and enjoy.
Recipe #2: Con Queso
Put cheese in pan and fry.
Eat.
Recipe #3: Meat Lovers Bagel
Take a bagel and cut into 2 sections. Sprinkle on prosciutto de parma, bologna, steak, chicken, and may-o. (beans optional)
Eat.
